Johnson City CON Denied

I hate to post this here, but the TN Health Services & Development Agency DENIED the Certificate of Need for the proposed clinic in Johnson City, TN. It's unfathomable to me that ANY treatment center would be blocked considering the opioid addiction and overdose epidemic we are facing in the state (and the nation at large), but, alas, you just can't always graft new ideas on closed minds! (Even though the efficacy of methadone treatment is NOT a new idea - we have 45+ years of research & data showing its proven effectiveness at this point....)

Keep up the good fight, and keep on focusing on your treatment & recovery! It is when people see the good that this treatment does & they see the positive change it has made in peoples' lives who were previously lost in the despair of active addiction that we WILL make a difference! :-)
